Adobe Ranch History

Jessica was raised with longhorn cattle having the first cows for Arch Acres purchased in 2000. In 2007, graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Sciences B.S. degree.  As part of helping on the family farm, she contributed to herd management and marketing.  Marketing largely included photographing the herd and creating advertisements.  Advertisements were largely for magazines, sale catalogs, and digital use. Adobe Ranch has designed several ads across many industries. Our work also includes show books, auction catalogs, and futurity catalogs for the Midwest Texas Longhorn Association (I.T.L.A. Affiliate) as well as the I.T.L.A. Championship Show in 2016 and 2017.  Since 2018 I have created the B&C Show-Me Sale catalogs.

Why is it called "Adobe Ranch"?

Adobe houses in the southwestern US are sometimes reddish from the clay used to make bricks. My husband and I refer to our family as "Team Red" because of our hair and coat color. At one point we had 5/5 family members, dogs included with red hair and then our blonde came to be.  We currently have two Dobermans a black, Onyx, and a blue, Sterling Silver, but our self-appointed "Team  Red" remains, which leads me to the other reason, our Dobermans.  Having dogs enriches lives whether they are a working partner on the ranch or companions. Our Dobermans have been excellent family dogs and if you're interested I can recommend several great rescues.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.  I look forward to working with you!                                                                                                                           -Jesse
